When to get your survey:
The best time to order your survey is when your offer has been accepted, or after you've received draft contracts.
Choosing what service:
1. Below is a link to a sheet to help customers to decide what survey they need, provided by RICS if customers are still unsure after visiting our website. If you are still unsure after reading this document, then please contact us, our details are in several places on this website.
About the property:
2. We ask Clients to complete a “survey information form” including as much detail about the property as possible. This helps us to give you the best advice as to the most appropriate level of survey and it helps us to give you an accurate quote for the survey.
What does it look like?:
3. We will send you a survey quotation and sample survey reports.
Accepting terms:
4. If instructed, we send you our terms of engagement and an invoice.
Payment:
4. Upon acceptance of the terms of engagement and payment of the invoice we will contact the agent and/or access provider to arrange a date for the inspection. This is usually 1 to 2 weeks in advance, depending upon work levels. Please note that we only accept BACS payments.
Getting the report to you:
5. After inspecting the property, our reports are usually sent (by email as a pdf document) within 48 hours.
